Dunelm's 'massive' snuggle throw 'keeps the whole family warm'

With the colder months setting in, many of us are looking for ways to stay cosy and warm at home - but without spending a fortune or putting the heating on. Luckily for shoppers, there's a snuggle throw available from Dunelm and it's 'perfect' for the whole family.

The Supersize Bubble Fleece Throw is available from Dunelm for £24 - and it's currently labelled as a 'special buy'. Available in four colours, including graphite (grey), mushroom (natural), pistachio (green) and white sand, shoppers have multiple options to choose from and the throw will suit any interior.

With its stylish bubble design and supersize dimensions of 240cm x 280cm, the throw is perfect for snuggling and the whole family. In addition, if anyone makes a mess with snacks or spills drinks during movie night, the throw is machine washable.

The brand says the throw, made from 100% recycled polyester, is soft, cosy and comfortable. However it's worth noting it's not suitable for ironing.

If shoppers are looking for alternatives, there's a StaySnug Sherpa Electric Heated Throw in Grey, currently available from Lakeland at a discounted price of £49.99, reduced from £59.99. This grey electric blanket has a soft and fleecy sherpa lining and a choice of nine heat settings.

Or there's the EMME Fleece Throw Blanket, currently available on Amazon for £18.99. Featuring a classic check pattern and in more than 30 colours, this throw is versatile and great for relaxing on the sofa, and it can be used as a warm blanket on cold nights.

The reviews on Dunelm are very positive, with shoppers leaving an average 4.9 out of five stars, from the few left online. One person has commented on the size of the throw, saying: "It's massive, fits the family and (is) quite comfy as well."

Another expressed similar sentiments. They wrote: "An amazing throw! It is soft, thick and mahoosive. It keeps the whole family warm." While a third person said: "Absolutely gorgeous throw. It's so soft and large enough to cover a three-seater sofa. Perfect."

Shoppers haven't really left any negative comments, but it looks like some are having to fight over the throw with their pets. One person wrote: "This is a lovely big throw, which is super soft. We have a dog (who sadly thinks the sofa is his bed), and I've washed it and it comes up brilliantly. Finally great to have a throw large enough to cover the sofa rather than having to use two or three small ones."

Another said: "The bubble fleece fit my beds nice and soft. It's just what I was looking for. My cats enjoy sleeping on the fleece. Bought two - one to keep me warm as well." It's worth noting that the product is not an electric blanket, so shoppers might be better off exploring those more costly options if they're seeking more warmth.
