Maruti Suzuki Swift, one of India's favorite hatchback cars, has now returned with new freshness with the 2025 model. Known for its sporty design, great mileage and easy driving both in the city and on the highway, the car is now coming with a new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z-series petrol engine. Available in five variants (LXi, VXi, VXi(O), ZXi and ZXi+), this car will be available in 10 attractive colors with petrol and CNG options. Ex-showroom price including GST starts from ₹6.49 lakh and goes up to ₹9.64 lakh. Come, let us know the complete details of its main features, features and prices.
New powerful engine
The biggest change in the 2025 Swift is in the engine platform. The new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z-series petrol engine will now be available, replacing the older 4-cylinder K-series, which generates 80 bhp power at 5,700 rpm and 111.7 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm. This engine comes with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT (automatic) transmission. The CNG variant keeps power at 70 bhp, but it is unmatched in terms of fuel efficiency. Maruti claims that this engine will provide a refined driving experience and will also fully comply with the emission standards.
Mileage
The 2025 Swift leaves no stone unturned in terms of fuel efficiency. The petrol manual variant will have a mileage of 24.8 km/l and the AMT of 25.75 km/l. At the same time, the CNG variant gives a great mileage of 32.85 km/kg, which tops the segment. With a fuel tank of 37 litres, the car is ideal for long distance haulers. Promising to travel more at less expense in both rural and urban areas, this car will attract fuel saving conscious buyers.
Design and dimensions
The 2025 Swift looks sporty and premium while retaining its compact look. It measures 3,860 mm in length, 1,735 mm in width and 1,520 mm in height, while giving a wheelbase of 2,450 mm and ground clearance of 163 mm. The boot space of 265 liters is enough to hold the goods. LED headlights from the outside, DRLs and 15-inch alloy wheels in top variants give it a modern look. Available in 10 color options, this car will become the choice of young buyers.
